I have checked to make sure the seat and pin are working properly by turning the carb upside down and pumping fuel into it, it is working properly. that means the problem must be the old float. I would like to seal it before buying a carb kit? How do I dry the float out? please provide details. also would any of my problems be why my motor is not starting anymore?

IMG_3440[1].JPG IMG_3439[1].JPG this is the float. one picture is of the float in water I don't know if this would help to determine if it is any good or not but from what I have researched this float looks done for. Would it even pay to seal it?

looks pretty bad...time to buy a new one....

you can change the oil in the l.u. a few times but you can't keep doing this all the time as a cure to worn out sealing elements
