Any Illinois river boaters

That looks like a bad area. And on Google Maps there are no cars. Has anybody used the ramp? Is there city personnel present on the ramp while open?
I don't mind the fee as I won't be going often, but I am really concerned about finding my car/trailer untouched when I come back. If anybody has any info or experience about using this ramp - how safe is it?

You just swipe your card like a regular parking space in the city. I used it before. Use a launch downtown then if you're scared.
