35 hp Evinrude Lark - year?

I have a 35 hp Evenrude Lark I'm searching parts for, but first I need to know the year. The serial # is 25976. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

I cannot find that model number listed because I think you possibly may have one or more incorrect digits. Here's the reference source I'm using at the link below. FYI, it and lots of other good stuff is in the FAQ's under this same Engine Repair and Maintenance header. Good luck!

well, a 35hp Lark can only be of 2 years with the 25 prefix and that's 57 or 58. Is it a Super Quite or a single wall mid section?

The ser. # is definately 25976, how do I tell whether it is a super quiet or single wall mid section?

Okay what we need is the model number and that should be right there with the serial number. On your motor, those will be on top between the transom clamps. Evinrude typically has the model and serial numbers on the welch plug on the powerhead too.
