Here’s the breakdown of my quote.

Parts: $13,200
Elec. Pymt fee: $557

taxes: $825
Total: $19,957

For $13 k in parts would think that is an OEM long block with multi year warranty.

With that much in labor have the place doing the work get the engine. If there are any problems and the engine needs to come out they should not charge any additional labor.

Get a reman 5.7L.
