I know this must sound stupid but I cant figure it out. I have a 1976 Invader Capri 15' with a 1976 Evinrude 70 HP engine. I can not figure out how to get the darn ignition switch out. I removed the three screws on the side of the throttle control. I can see the switch in there but there is still no way to slide it out. It looks like that housing is supposed to come apart some more but i can not figure it out. Can some one please help me.

Thanks A Lot

Remove the handle (screw at the back) and split the box.

Its not to hard to dissasemble the remote. Its a good idea too anyway. Check all the wires condition and clean and lube the thing. Just dont loose the indent ball and spring.

Thanks. I got it. I had to get a service wrench to unmount the darn thing, then it came apart. The only wires that were hooked up the the switch was the battery+ and the starter wire. Idiots had this boat prior to me. I got it all hooked up properly and lubed it all up.

Thanks
