    1956 Crestliner Voyager

Not sure what I’m going to do about paint yet, long way off 😂. First things first. Picked up a 1956 Evinrude Lark about a year ago when I snatched up the boat. Just picked it up from my new mechanic.

1956 Big Twin Electric Starting motor

Picked up a 56’ Crestliner 15’ with 56’ Big Twin on it.... Seems a bit long for this 15 inch transom measures out closer to long shaft motor than a short shaft.... were there optional shaft length available that year, looks like the 30 hp was made only 1 year. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Choke solenoid plunger not dropping back down. 1967 Merc 650SS

Choke solenoid engages when I press the choke button but solenoid does not come back down and keeps the choke door closed. Spring operates the choke flap on the carbs just fine when I close it by hand, opens back up immediately when I let go. I'm baffled. Any ideas??
