Been away for some time 😂, got side tracked with work and life.... But managed to pick up a boat to rehab, just need to find the time. Not my typical Starcraft boat, but should make for a nice project. Two feet snow on the ground currently😂

At the ramp where I usually put in, a fella has a restored Crestliner that looks a lot like your new one will look soon. All shiny and red with nice wood.

Those vent windows are cool.

Not sure what I’m going to do about paint yet, long way off 😂. First things first. Picked up a 1956 Evinrude Lark about a year ago when I snatched up the boat. Just picked it up from my new mechanic.

Whoa! Seeing the cowling and the rest, the old Crestliner will look as good or better than the one I see.

Your Crestliner looks to be in pretty good shape. I've got a 1957 Voyager that is a bit rougher that I'm planning to get started on soon. I'm missing the windshield so I've looked at some videos and articles about refabricating those.

Had one made for mine, they formed it over the old windshield. $500 included new side vent windows.
