i have a 2001 crestliner 1850 sportfish with a 135 ficht and a 8 hp yamaha kicker . i did some investigating and the only filter on it is the one that is mounted in the cowl of the 135 ficht . I have a 3 way valve to feed fuel to the kicker pre filter so the kicker is getting unfiltered fuel...

ok yesterday went out fishing boat ran perfect ran out there . switched over to kicker motor fished 4 hrs no problems yet. switched back to main engine ran in to channel no problems starting slow no wake in channel couple minutes later motor starts to idle rough spit an sputter i check primer...
I have a 2003 mercruiser 350 mag mpi Motor sems to be running fine but it wont rev past about 4000 rpm
Boat used to max right out at 5000 rpm 43mph now 4000 rpm 34 mph
It also seams to be lagging power the boat weights 5000 lbs and use to launch out of the water now it seams to be laboring...
what zirk fitting is for greasing my gimbal bearing. I found all the ones on the outdrive outside of boat. but can only find 1 inside the boat. looks like it is the coupler i have greased.

I am getting ready to put a new floor in my uncles starcraft 18' center console nd i am looking for ideas. my questions are
1.do i need to tear out the old floor
2.Has anyone tried the recycled plastic decking that you use at home on your deck or something similar

I have a 2003 mercruiser mpi with the 555 ecm.Somehow my distributor is broken where the cap screws down to the distributor the screw flange is broken off so i only have 1 screw holding my cap on.
Here is my question since this distributor does nothing but supply power to my spark plugs in...

I have a horn/fault message that wont go away . when i installed my smartcraft gauges i forgot the horn. I have now installed said horn but the message wont go away. Everything works...
Last year i installed all new smartcraft gauges on my 350 mag mpi. Everything works great except i get a written alarm / horn when i turn on my key and My speedo that says alarm when cleared wont come back on until i turn the key off and back on. I need the audible buzzer or alarm that works...
Does anyone have any experience useing Allumaloy or similar products. My crestliner has a few small leaks was wondering if this is the cure all it claims.
