    Converting 55hp Rude from remote to tiller.

    Hey everyone, I was thinking of saving some floor space in a 14' trihull fishing boat by getting rid of the console and converting a good running 55hp into a tiller control. No handle controls, just lever steering. Too torquey? unsafe? Any thoughts.

    Decarb 55hp Rude

    Hey everybody, I did a decarb on my 1968 Rude, all seemed to go OK. Question is how clean should the tops of the pistons be? The gunk looks a little thinner but the pistons are still black. This is the first one I have done. Any comments? Thanks and happy holiday:p
