    2004....mercury ...50 hp

    friend of mine has this motor and won't idle when trying to start it in neutral. has to cold start it just to run it but stalls in neutral.......what do you think on this problem? he just bought in sept. and has no clue other then bringing it to the shop.

    oil from the prop

    i put away my 7.5 2 stroke outboard for the winter and noticed a oily wet spot on the floor, should i be worried and if so what could the problem be?

    8 h.p johnson

    therea 8 h.p for sale and the guy said he had it in his basement for 10 yrs. now do you think the seals would dry up and the motor would have to go in the shop basiclly a head to toe work up.
