Re: Custom Center Console Rebuild
Got a little set back waiting on some parts but now it is almost complete!! Motor is mounted. Had to remove the powerhead to install a new shift shaft for the lower unit that I bought from SEI. Had some trouble getting it off but eventually it came free. I...
Re: Custom Center Console Rebuild
Couple of quick photos of the progress. Paint is done!! Ill get a better photo of that off the other camera tomorrow. Center console is in and the majority of wiring is complete. Still have to install the stereo and speakers. Deck plate is installed so...

Re: Custom Center Console Rebuild
Sanded the tank today and there are a few corrosion spot I need some input on. Will these spots in the tank be okay if i prime over them and paint or should I consider replacing the tank? thanks

I tried getting the entire liner out but cant get it to budge at all so I will...
I have a 19' fiberglass center console that was a custom build that I am now rebuilding. It has a 90 hp Mercury 2 stroke that powers it. Would 2 pieces of 3/4" Marine Fir plywood be sufficient for the transom? I do plan on epoxy and glassing it all in just not sure how thick to make the core...
