I have 2007 Mercruiser 4.3mpi, Right now when I turn the key on I have no power. If jump power from battery to the excite wire on the alternator I get power and can crank/start the engine. Where could I be losing the power to the ignition?
There are 2 wires coming off the plug back of my alternator, a purple one and a pink with green stripe... what are these for? I believe the purple is the excite wire? I am hooking up a battery isolator with the excite post and wonder how this should be wired? Thanks
