Long story short, nothing happens at the ptt switch on the binnacle or on the side of the motor.
nothing happens at the motor when you turn the key to start. No solenoid clicking......absolutely nothing. There is 12V at the 20amp fuse on the powerhead and 12V at the battery post on the solenoid...

only thermostat kit or even thermostats I see are for years 2000-2001 only. Anyone know why?
I would like to replace thermostats, gasketand anything else I should. Will buy separate but a kit would be nice.

1994 225hp Johnson. Cranks, idles and wot just fine. VRO has been disabled for a long time. Seems to always have gas/oil mixture running/staining down the outside of the midsection after sitting. I take the airbox off and the throats/front of carbs are dry, I check the carb bases good and they...
1994 225 Johnson, VRO bypassed. I wanted to test the temperature sensors and the warning horn today.

Thanks
Rick

I was...
I just recently bought a 1981 (I think) Chrysler 85HP. The model is 850HIC and serial number is 1070.
It looks brand new inside and outside of the cowl. It was never used and kept in a heated and cooled garage since day 1.
It cranks instantly, idles and shifts perfect and runs like a scalded...
