    New Boat, Good Deal?

So I've finally rebounded and bought another boat after my Chris was lost in the hurricane. Its a 2004 Luhrs 30 Open that I fell in love with when I saw it. I wanted twin diesels, but this one has brand new Merc 6.2s with a warranty, so I figured you can't go wrong. I don't run offshore enough...

    Baha Cruisers

Looking to get a 300 GLE. I like the enclosed pilot house. Are Baha's solid boats? I know they're not fancy in any sense of the word, and very "businessy". But are they solid and durable? And how bout them Suzuki outboards?

    Tracvision???

I am looking at this 30' Sea Ray Amberjack and it has one of these Trac Vision Sat. TV systems. Does anyone know anybody about these systems? Cause I have no idea how this works. I would imagine you pay a monthly fee. How much is it, cause I cant seem to find that info. Its a Trac Vision M5. Thanks

    Outdrive engine setup

I was doing some dreaming today and went online to look at Cigarette Racing Speed Boats. The 50' one has a triple 1075 Mercury Setup and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how this type of setup works (I included a pic). How does the power get to the drive of the port and starboard engines...

    New Boat ....Sea Ray Amberjack.

Ok, its finally gonna happen (i swear this time ) Im gonna buy a new boat. After looking at Wellcraft coastals, Pro-Lines, Albermarles, Chris Crafts, Tritions, and Seaswirls for almost 3 yrs, Ive decided to go with an interesting, hybrid type boat that I came across, The Sea Ray...

    Wellcraft is sluggish

Wellcraft has had the same design in their coastal series running for 10+ years (except for the new 340 Coastal). I know that they probably "stick with what works" But I am so excited to see a redesigned coastal!!!

    Throttle Handles

Is there anyway to make throtle control handles move a little smoother? Because mine are a little rickety and its a pain in the as%. I know this probably has to do with the cables themselves, but is there a way to smooth it out a bit?

    Flush Mounting

Hi all, I built a new electronics box out of Starboard, and I wanna panel mount my Raymarine A57 and my Garmin Fishfinder. The flush mount kits are $25 a piece and its basically something I can make my self for $5 for each display. However, The kits come with a gasket, where as I would use foam...

    Interesting Story......Steering Issue

I was out fishing the other day in the bay, near the inlet, and decided it was getting a bit boring, so i'd give the ocean a shot. So, i hopped in the channel got on plane and underway. As another boat was approaching my bow coming from the opposite way, I steered right to give him room. Well, I...
