New Boat, Good Deal?

So I've finally rebounded and bought another boat after my Chris was lost in the hurricane. Its a 2004 Luhrs 30 Open that I fell in love with when I saw it. I wanted twin diesels, but this one has brand new Merc 6.2s with a warranty, so I figured you can't go wrong. I don't run offshore enough for diesels to be worth it anyway.
So, I paid 78k. I think I got a fantastic deal, even though I don't know a whole lot about Luhrs. Can anybody speak to their quality?

I have seen them listed for anywhere from 70-129K. So if yours is in good shape, you did okay. From what I have read, Luhrs are decent quality and I have never talked with a dissatisfied owner at the docks. Have no personal experience with them, however, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Congratulations on the rebound, as we thaw from the great winter of 2013-14, pictures of your new boat are required for us that still have snow piles around. Hey it will hit 55 here in Metro Detroit, what's it like by you?

Again send us pictures and congratulations again!!

I've heard that Luhrs has a good reputation among coastal boaters--so have fun!
