took the boat out on the water today after replacing a torn fuel pump diaphram. Got up to 2000 rpm and wouldn't go any further. thought maybe a clogged fuel filter, changed it and didn't work.
got home kinda pissed played ps3 for a lil to cool off. then went back out to look at it.

I had to replace my fuel pump diaphram this past weekend. I'm wondering what would cause it to rip? could it be that the fuel filter putting a strain on the diaphram? bad parts? pumping primer bulb to much? bad parts?
Im asking because it hasn't been very long since i changed it out.

I'm looking to overhaul my carbs upon inspection I found that all 3 idle needles had worn in grooves at the tips. Manual says to replace if grooves are present so parts are on order.

I went to anchor my boat today, dropped the anchor, and put it in reverse. Gave it a little throttle and the motor tilted up out of the water.
