broken terminal on trigger wires cause low rpm?

took the boat out on the water today after replacing a torn fuel pump diaphram. Got up to 2000 rpm and wouldn't go any further. thought maybe a clogged fuel filter, changed it and didn't work.

got home kinda pissed played ps3 for a lil to cool off. then went back out to look at it.

found t2 wire from the trigger assembly completely off the terminal lug.

Just wondering if that would cause me not to be able to make full wot.

Hopefully that was the problem, i wont know till i get it back in the water tomorrow.

Broken trigger wire means that cylinder was not firing.

looks like problem solved. running like a champ now.

by the way, i noticed youre from WA, im moving up there around december, would like to take my boat up there with me but thats a long haul from FLorida. still contemplating whether to haul it or not.

I'm from Washington too. I'd bring the boat if I were you...there is a lot of water around here lol. I'm getting my boat ready for sea-fair hydro races. Lots of fun!!
