How can I check my temp gauge to make sure it's properly working? The needle is riding just below the red mark on the gauge. But when I pop the motor cover and check to see if anything is overheating, there is no signs. It's also riding high on my oil pressure? Could there just be a bad ground...
When my trailor is hooked up (flat connection) I hit my left blinker- good. I hit my right blinker and the left side comes on? I also have no brake lights coming on either? Any suggestions?
Can anyone point me in the right direction for choosing a battery. I have a 4.3 OMC and only run a small radio. Im looking at Optimas but am unsure which one to choose?

I'm trying to understand this system a little more...are you not supposed to drain it for winterization since it does have coolant in it? if you have a closed cooling system what are you supposed to drain?

I seem to have misplaced my manual...I have a 1991 OMC 4.3, I picked up the plugs and filter for a 1991 Blazer with the same engine. Will this work? I was told to put anitseeze on the plugs?

When I winterized my boat I forgot to fill the tank with gas and put the fuel stabilizer in it. How much of a problem is this going to be come spring?

OMC 4.3 I checked three times and there was no petcocks on the under side of the manifolds... Would they have drained when I pulled the plugs to the block?
I was winterizing my boat (OMC 4.3 V6) yesterday and in the manual it says to pull the two hoses off the manifolds, I did this but not water came out. The hose are level with the manifolds so I dont see how water would drain out. Shouldnt there be some kind of pet **** on the manifold? I drained...
Why do they say to change the oil for winter sitting? Wont it collect moisture during this time and you'll have to end up changing it in the spring anyway?
