All first mates of the female persuasion must be between the ages of 18 and 40, under 150lbs and dressed in a thong and a smile, :D

Don't let SWMBO see this, I stay in enough trouble as it is already, lol.

Hey those steering wheels and windshields can still be used on resto projects what's wrong with people get those on ebay:mad:...:D I think one of those seats just needs some armor all and a little wd-40 on the swivel too.

Aluminum boats always have value and can be scrapped(or sold to people like myself and cheapboatkev if they are in our price range) to bail friends out of jail or other cases of emergency...good luck doing that with a rotting 'glass hull;)

Right you are.,

Buuuut....

Aluminum toxicity can lead to various health problems in the long run including speech problems, memory loss, headaches, anemia, kidney dysfunction, liver problems, extreme nervousness, rickets, gastrointestinal problems, softening of the bones, colic, negative impact on the metabolism of calcium, etc. In extreme cases symptoms of aluminum toxicity are quite similar to Alzheimer's disease.

:D

So does a 30 pk of Bud Light... :D

Re: The Anti-Starcraft Club

Love the name Kevin.

Man I just striped a glass boat, it was a grate looking hull but every piece of wood was rotted. Oh well it will live on in my old tin, the running gear that is. The running gear was the best part of the glass boat, and I got all itchy just taking that out.

Jeff.

You guys will seriously be green next year when we start posting pictures from TinStock.....

In all seriousness, I read and post in any and all restoration project threads where I think I could offer some information or encouragement. I certainly don't limit myself to just Starcraft aluminums.

Add me!
I'm itching to be in the ASC!
I was going to spray paint my hull with metallic paint and see if I could get into the SC .....I guess that wouldn't work

I think a better name for this club would be, "Kiss my Glass" :D

In all seriousness, I think its great that the Starcraft guys love their boats so much, I'm not jealous of them, and know this is all in fun. I had never heard of a Starcraft until joining the forum, guess they aren't that popular down here in the south?

My grandfather had a glass Starcraft and the fondest memory I have was being broken down on the lake. I guess that's what happens when a union carpenter plays mechanic?
