Just completed the installation of a teak swim platform for my ?94 1950 Capri I picked up off eBay.($200) Could not justify the two grand for a aftermarket one. Did a complete restoration and refit, came from a late ?80s Four Winns. Can not post any pics of yet do to forum rules. Mark

You picked up a '94 Bayliner Capri for $200.00? That's pretty darn good!
The original swim platform was a plastic platform on the starboard side, wasn't it? Did you just replace that part with teak, or did you build a platform that covers the entire width of the transom?
Upload your photos to photobucket (or similar) and post links to the photos.

Would love to see how it turned out on your '94. I've still got the original on my Capri Classic, and I REALLY miss our full swim deck on the Silverline. Been thinking about lookin' at a new one.

Welcome aboard.

Having problem getting photos uploaded, and photobucket problem too.

Need to get wife involved to figure this out.

Used platform was $200, boat was a $1500 restoration project, new floor and swapped out cracked block 4 banger for a 5.0 litre vortec V8. Spent a year on restoration, love to share photos as soon as figure this out.

One more post and you can use any method to upload photos (you need three posts). I use all of the different options from the tutorial.

Could only upload pictures from old phone. Couldn?t compress pictures from computer files small enough to load.

I only see squares. Are you sure you posted them correctly?

NICE. Does it drag at all when you're coming out of the hole?

Not sure if it drags at all, only been out twice since on. It?s 2 ?" higher off the water than the old starboard side factory one, it would drag a bit at start. Defiantly stays clear of wake.

The PO on the Silverline I had put one on. I don't know how much it affected the boat coming out of the hole, but the deck did drag. We were mostly cruisers, so it didn't bother me much ... plus, I REALLY liked having a full swim deck.

Looks great on yours.
