Yamaha 90hp driveshaft

Just looking through an online parts list and schematic and it looks like the driveshaft is removable from the gearcase without cracking it all apart, is this so? Hope it is.

Driveshaft or propshaft? Propshaft yes. Driveshaft has a nut below the pinion gear that has to be removed and you have to gut it to do it.

Ok thanks, thing I will rebuild the whole unit just for peace of mind if that is the case.
