yam, 9.9 four stroke, oil pressure Bulb?

i have a 1997 9.9 yam 4 stroke. i have a dual binnacle for big motor and this one. the green light that indicates the oil pressure stopped working.

i used the test procedure (for the oil sending unit) in the manual with a vacuum pump and ohm meter to check the the ohms a various pressures. it apparently flunked the test because regardless of the psi on the vacuum pump i had continuity.

so i guess the sending unit is bad.

what about a test for the bulb/wiring at the console/binnacle?
