WOT RPM- Trimmed or not trimmed?

I searched and did not find an answer to this. <br /><br />When determining the correct prop pitch, should you be trying to hit the WOT RPM range when trimmed or not. Currently I hit right below my range when not trimmed but almost at the top of it when trimmed. <br /><br />Is this how it should be?

You got it!<br /><br />As long as you arent trimming to the point where its slipping (rpms go up but speed comes down).
