Has anyone run wiseco pistons in their 2 stroke outboard rebuilds? I have used them in other 2 stroke apllications without very good results.I have also used them in alot of four strokes from mini bikes to 500 cube race car engines with great success. In the outboard market especially omc you have to run them when your bore is over .030 because that is all that is available,This is a first attempt with forged pistons in an outboard and was looking for some advise.

I run them in everything I rebuild. Especially mod motors.

I like the sound of that.I just know that they are slappers in the motox bikes. And the clearance of.05 is scary. That is usually the time for a bore. That said I sould be able to have the block machine honed to straighten and be fine.

I put them in my 79 140 rude and they are doing great. just remember,if you are mixing the oil & fuel, use double amount of oil during break in.. I have no problem with them..
