wiring help or diagrams for black max merc 150 outboard

ive got a wire hanging off. Black and yellow(starter something?) engine runs fine, its hanging off the starboard side of the engine right beside the bus with the black caseing on the end(not cut), it also connects to pin 1 on the cannon plug. like i said boat starts and runs great, just wondering what this is. Looking for full service manual(would be awesome), or wiring diagrams, or an awnser if someone could tell me..LOL
