clean and properly lubricate all fittings and linkages, drain and change engine oil and filter change the gearlube, refill the engine oil using a product called crankcase stor n start or its equivalent and properly mix fuel stabilizer to FRESH fuel. add it to 2 month old E10 blends and come springtime you will still have trash fuel.
after mixing the stabil drain the VST and change the water seperator, reprime the system and run the engine for 10-15 min.
usually what I do is mix fuel stabilizer 1qt or two stroke oil and 3 gallons of fuel in a remote tank to run the engine from thus hopefully insuring the shiny parts and the fuel system works next spring.
if you elect to drain the VST for storage make sure you drain it for a minimum of 30 min to insure its fully drained.
