Winter Solstice

Yeah I feel the torment too. Took the pic first of July on my way out to fish walleye and smallys on one of my favorite lakes, Banks Lake. Was before I restored the Sea Nymph. All of the crazy people were still sleeping. :lol:

I have fished that lake before. It has some cool things to look at with all the old lava flows.

After spending as much time as I do in Ghana, 300 miles north of the equator, I miss the changing of the days. Light from 6am to 6pm EVERYDAY gets boring. There is only about a 20 minute difference in daylight times throughout the year. I like long summer days and short winter days. Guess I am weird, but I like variety!

I would be happy if it got dark at 10pm year round. Short winter days make for a longer winter than it already is........... A couple more months of summer would be nice too.

I do like the long summer days but would like to just hibernate in the winter. I don't like the lack of sun or the cold.
