I think they were made by OMC and went out of business in 1998.<br />Stalker

you probably won't find anything. sunbird, owned by omc, went out of business after selling their 1998 models. i had a 1997 sunbird 200CC and original owner's manual, and it provided very little info about the boat.

I heard that Hydrasports took over the Sunbird operations. I don't know for sure if that's true though. There are similarities in the hulls.

I owned a 20' Sunbird circa 1990. It was junk. I was just getting into boating and had no idea what reasonable standards of fit and finish were.

Yea, I've heard that the Sunbird brand had a lot of problems with wood rot due to lousy production practices. If u own one, be on the lookout.
