69 Mercruiser 160 SN 2497444. If I change to Pertronix, do I want the Ignitor or Ignitor II? I really couldn't tell from the website. They sometimes mention the II as being for modified or high performance, and other places they just call it "improved". Mine is certainly not modded or Hi-Po in any way.
Or do I want to change at all? All opinions solicited and welcome. I fought the points battle for the better part of a month last year and told myself over the winter that I was gonna switch it over. The last half of the season it ran great and started very nicely out of the gate this year.
I know this topic has been beaten to death, and I really did use the search function first. I just didn't find the answer I was lookin for.
