I’m completely refurbishing my boat...all new marine ply panels , new upholstery and foam for all seats, new carpet, rewiring and new instrument dials.
What material should I use for the carpet, I have a V hull speed boat so it needs to be quite flexible to meet the shape and contours but would also like something reasonable thick for harder wearing and comfort. I think the old stuff I’m ripping out seems to be the material used for covering the walls etc when converting the back of a van I think it’s automotive trim but it’s quite thin.
Any suggestions??
