I like the service I've gotten from Michigan Motors (michigan motorz is their website), though I've only ordered manifolds from them so far.

mercruiser buys the motor from GM.

so is this a 3.0, 4.3, a 5.0, a 5.7, a 7.4, a 8.1 or an 8.2? flat tappet or roller?

if you want to spend 500% on a cam and lifter buy from Mercruiser. if you want to buy a marine cam with basic lifters, there are hundreds of locations you can buy a marine cam for a GM motor.

however I use Summit Racing for cams and lifters. but I dont buy anything stock. and If I am rebuilding, I rebuild with purpose.

stock mercruiser cam has a valve lift at .290 @ 0.050 and an exhaust lift of .296 @ .050 per manual #25
