hey all, new old guy here on the forums.
just got my dads old 15' (Wards) Sea King boat at my house to work on. it's in decent shape being housed in a garage and shed for over 20 years.
ok, the wheels need replaceing and was gonna slap them on the trailor except the bearings looked dirty and prolly needs cleaning and greasing. i saw pits on the outer bearings and worry about them. couldn't pull the inner ones off---yet anyway.
can these bearings survive just needing grease? i had this boat/trailor brought over on a flatbed cause i was worried about pulling the trailor 50 miles to my house.
anyway, nice to find this forum cause i got to hit the motor section next. thx jw
