What year is my 25hp Merc please?

I know, it's the oldest post in the world. I'm normally on the Johnson/Evinrude side (so please be nice to me!) but have just bought a boat with a Merc 25hp on it. I could find no model #, just a serial number of 0C209688. There were a couple of others numbers cast in the exhaust housing but they looked like part numbers. I have included pics. Thx.

1989 mercury 25 el, Model No: 1025312GD

The mercury service manual part number for your engine is 90-435093 - it covers engines 18/20/25 HP.
