I am installing a new fishfinder. I am going to drill holes for a transom mount transducer. When I get ready to mount the bracket on what should I use to seal the screw holes? Is it Ok to use regular silicone sealent?

I think 3M 5200 is the best to use. I was advised not to use regular silicone below the water line.

Ditto on the 3M products. Don't trust the silicone for below waterline sealing. The 3M 5200 is both a permanent adhesive and sealant, 4000 and 4200 are both excellant sealants. Use the 5200 if you never intend to remove it. Otherwise use the 4000 or 4200.
