What needs to be done with too much oil in mixutre?

My friend has a 2 stroke tohatsu he mix the oil wrong and put too much oil and now leaking oil out of carburetor. What is the best way to fix the problem? Clean carburetor? Anything he should be concern about?

He should get a mixing 50:1 fuel/oil ratio bottle to make exact mixtures, his engine will work as it's best, meanwhile soak spark tips in acrylic thinner for some minutes and brush away excesive oil with a tooth brush, clean plugs treads. Drain gasoline from bowl, test, if the engine does not idle well clean carb interior, replace with new 50:1 mixture.
