What is the proper name...

What is the proper name for the dry storage compartment in my console? It's right beside the guages and above the throttle. It has a tinted, plexiglass cover that hinges up and pushes in. The plexiglass cover is damaged. Want to get a new one but I have no idea what it's called. I have searched the internet and found nothing.

LOL you made me laugh....not laughing at you but at myself. A couple of years ago I was searching on the internet for a replacement for a deck drain on my Wellcraft. I had no idea what to call it. When I finally asked on Iboats and found out I was so embarassed. I have been in the construction industry for 40 years, am a civil engineer and a licensed contractor. Drains in the construction industry are called scuppers. I can't believe I never thought of searching for a scupper.
