What is float level on plastic 1990 johnson 200hp carbs.

How do i set the floats on these plastic carbs where the float stays in the bowls when you remove them. This is a 1991 200hp johnson. I have set the parrellel to the body of the bowl but they seem to be flooding and dumping some gas out . All throats were extremely wet with gas and she flooded so bad she wouldnt run and get on plane. I was using ql78yc plugs when i should have had ql77jc4 i dont know if this had anything to do with it. Thanks

With the carburetor body held upside down, the float being viewed from the side, adjust the float so that the free end of the float (the end opposite the hinge pin) is ever so slightly higher (just ever so slightly off level) than the other end. And when viewed from the end, make sure it is not cocked.
