My parents saw a 05 FW 268 Vista (119 hours) that they are interested in. They said its very clean when they went to see it. The seller is a 2nd owner and he's downgrading to a smaller boat. We will of course do the survey of the boat and engine, however as this is our first time buying a boat of this size and therefore have a couple of questions:
1. What would be the fair price to offer for this boat?
2. Should the 5.7 engine be ok for this boat?
3. If we are happy with the boat, at what stage do we do the survey and engine test (i.e. pre-deposit, after-deposit, etc)
4. As this is a boat from the private seller how do we sort out the contract, documentation etc?
5. How much would it cost to install a generator on this boat and who could be able to do it?
6. If you were buying a boat what other questions would you have from the seller?
