what colour lock tite on hinge pins when replacing

Can anyone tell me if i have to use the red lock tite again on the hinge pins when putting the bellhousing back on the gimbal ring or do i have another alternative?

A drop wouldn't hurt!

But between you & I, if you torque it properly, it ain't gonna move anyway! Totally up to you.

i used the blue loctite machanic said it was ok to use instead of red

Purple - 222
Blue - 242
Red- 262....

222 - low strength, can be broken free with the use of hand tools.
242 - medium strength, may need to be heated (to 250?) to break free.
262 - you guessed it, high strength. Will definitely need to be heated (to 250?) to break free.

If you are going to use any, use 222....
