We just had a California suprise.

At 8:04 PDT this evening, the SF penisula had the pleasure of a 5.6 earthquake. That's not a really big one, but depending of the area effected, this sized one usually causes light damage in places.

Hopefully that will be the end of it for the night, although they are more fun in dark than in the daylight.

I was on the phone last night with my brother in Aptos when it happened. In the background I heard my sis in law. "Grab the dogs!! safe spot!!" I was glad to get the call back 15min. later. Their house is up on cribs right now getting a new foundation. Phew! Its still there.
