My Mercury O/B is a 4-cyl 4-stroke EFI 115 HP SaltWater version that came on a 2004 Trophy 1802WA. It needs a water pump rebuild kit (impeller, gasket, seal, ec.).
The iBoats store website only lists a water pump rebuild kit for a Mercury 6-cyl 115 HP motor, not for 4-cyl. I don't think it would work, would it? I even think my motor is made by Yamaha. Anway I need to know where I can find the correct water pump rebuild kit. I found some eBay listings say that will filt on Mercury O/B 115 HP, but doesn't say whether it is for 4-cyl or 6-cyl. I sent a question to sellers if that would work on my particular motor but either no reply or response just says "it will fit as described on the ad" (which isn't too clear and that's why I am asking!). I also call a local WestMarine, but they were no help. They told me to call other boat parts store.
