Well,just got off the phone with the buyer. Very nice guy! My deposit was sent and he offered to pay in full via PayPal.
I told him to hold off a few days until i get the title and registration that i have with me sent priority mail to my girlfriends house.She is a notary and can finalize the deal.
So all looks like it ended well....

The buyer just sold his pontoon and wants a boat that will sling a tube around. I think he will love it! Poor kids better hold on!!

Good for you Gary. We have sold and bought stuff on e-bay over the last several years but never anything the size of a boat. Gives me a warmer fuzzier feeling for the future.

Man the luck of this guy! Good thing you had the rotted transom issue or I was really thinking you were getting more than your fair share It's nice to see someone "rewarded" for keeping something in such excellent condition. I'm sure the new owner will enjoy it.
