We have the Merc. 150hp 4 stroke on our Berkshire 230cl tri toon It has an Enertia 3 blade ss prop on it 15 1/8 x 14 and runs 5,200 rpm's at 33 mph.

The dealer has tried 3 ss props on it and all gave the same exact results. one was 15x15 4 blade and I don't remember the 3rd one.
I am thinking on trying a Merc Black Max Aluminum prop 16 x 12 with a cup for Pontoon boats, I am wondering if I should try a 16 x 11 with a cup.

The motor is rated for 5,800 rpm's I would like to get the motor to run in that area as I think it should. What do the prop Guru's think.

my vote is for the 12 pitch - just guessing but I think that will get you close....not sure what it will do to your top speed though.
