Re: Volvo Penta 5.7L Gi-A..... water in cylinders
I feel your pain, had very similar problems with a race bike a while back. In my case it turned out to be a broken thermostat that tested good but wasn't. I rebuilt the engine, heads skimmed & reconditioned, new gaskets but she overheated again & blew the head gasket so when I pulled the engine down again cylinders had water in them. Something is causing your engine to boil i'd say water in the cylinders is a symptom of that.
Lots of things can cause your engine to boil,
Don will hopefully give you a better steer
