Hi All,
Just discovered that instead of a 883072T voltage rectifier/regulator for my 2-stroke 90ELPTO I had ordered a 883072T2 by mistake (several years ago), which seems to fit a range of 4-strokes:

While looking identically to 883072T it's quite a bit more expensive (~$215 vs ~$155 for 883072T). What exactly do they differ in electrically (if at all) and will it work any better than 883072T in my 2-stroke if I fit it by means of replacing those black plastic connectors with the bullet ones? Seen numerous reports of 4-strokes' recall exactly because of the regulator fire hazard dating back ~2005, so if an improved version of 883072T2 was released around that time then mine's likely one of those.
Thanks in advance!
