I have a 1990 Suzuki DT30C triple. When I accelerate from a dead stop it seems to want to stall, then kicks into high gear and goes like it should. There seems to be no problems at idle or when running wide open throttle. Anyone got any ideas of what i should do. Spark is good, its getting fuel. Checked to see if any gaskets are leaking, didn't find anything. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Re: under accelleration issues

nice motor you have there, and one of my favorites ..... what you describing is normal with this motor, it will take very fine tuning to get the dead spot out .... firstly you need to clean all 3 carbs very well, maybe even rebuild them .... soak overnight in carb cleaner and blow out with compressed air, all the jets .. everything ... then you need to sync all carbs and adjust air/fuel mix perfect and then always run fuel system cleaner in your gas, either use stabil or quicksilver ..... after all this you can advance the timing a little .... should run like a dream ....
