The schematic for the oil pan on an AQ131A shows that the oil drain plug has a washer on it and the list calls it a gasket.

Since I would feel dumber than usual ordering that washer from Volvo, can anyone tell me if that washer is metal or fiber?

Just go to the autoparts store with plug in hand and get a copper one that's close.

Ayuh,.... Or a hardware store for a plastic one,......

A rubber o-ring might work,....

Copper is probably the Better choice,....

It is just a copper crush washer.
In a pinch a good O-ring will work to but I would prefer the copper.
