Fiance and I just bought a new GT185 SF and curious as to what can be done with the trolling motor. Is it necessary to take it off the bow after use if I'm trailering it all the time? If I do remove it there's no place to stow it. I don't believe it will fit in the underfoot compartment (which has lifevests and other gear) and it's a pain to try and walk around. Looking at the mooring cover, it looks as if it may have been fitted with the motor on it.
