Trim unit power leads

I am rewiring the boat from the previous owner hack job. I am at the point of the trim unit. I have looked at the wiring diagram in the service manual and i do not see where it tells of the wire gauge size. I need to know what gauge are the red and black power leads, that go from the trim unit to the battery? The trim is for a MC-1 drive on a 1981 Merc 260.
