trim tabs not working?

Hi all,

On my 1990 Four Winns 225 Sundowner with 5.8L motor the trim tabs arent' working properly. The pump makes a noise when you hit the button but they don't go up and down. Right now they are even with the bottom of the boat. (UP)

Where is the pump and resevoir for this system? Can't find that info in the book and I am at work and thought I would ask.

Any suggestions? You can pull them down by hand (hard) but they pop right back up.

It could be any brand you will have to craw in and find the pump so it can be ID

follow the lines back from the transom (if they are thru the transom) and you'll find the pump and resevoir...as Tommays noted, first step is to find the maker.......
